HIGHLIGHTS: Logan Darnell struck out a season-high 8 batters en route this his third victory and first since April 14th … After batting .343 in his first 11 games of the season, Rock Cats outfielder Chris Colabello is hitting only .184 over his last ten, bringing his season average down to .260 … Aaron Hicks stole his first base since April 14th. He now has 3 on the season and has been gunned down once … Evan Bigley went 0 for 5 and struck out 3 times, ending his eight-game hit streak. He has struck out 10 times in his last five games.

HIGHLIGHTS: Down a run heading into the bottom of the ninth, the Fisher Cats struck for two, with the game-winning, walk-off single coming off the bat of Brad McElroy … For the fourth time in five starts, New Hampshire’s Chad Jenkins pitched 6 or more innings. He did not factor into the decision … Clint Everts worked three 3 scoreless innings with 4 Ks for the win. In 5 appearances he has yet to yield a run over 9 innings of work.

HIGHLIGHTS: In his first action with the PawSox since returning from Boston, Nate Spears went 3 for 5 with a double and a run scored … Over his last ten games Mauro Gomez, who went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles on the day, is batting .395 with 5 home runs, 12 RBIs and 12 runs … Jose Iglesias went 0 for 5 to bring his batting average down to .185. The shortstop has a .175 batting average (7 for 40) over his last ten games, has only one extra base hit on the year and has gone hitless in 11 games this season … Despite not allowing an earned run, reliever Clayton Mortensen got tagged with the loss after walking two and allowing a hit. The run that scored on his watch occurred on a throwing error from Tony Thomas during a botched double play that would have ended the seventh.
